Käkkliniken has a broad operation within maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, and oral medicine.

We provide county, regional, and out-of-county care. At Käkkliniken, we work in various ways with skeletal surgery in the facial area, such as orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, reconstruction, and dentoalveolar surgery. We also deal with soft tissue conditions such as precancerous changes. The maxillofacial surgical unit consists of an elective section and an emergency flow section. Specialized care and research are conducted in collaboration with other specialties at the University Hospital.

Three of the doctors have doctoral degrees. The clinic is approved as a specialist training clinic in maxillofacial surgery. Approximately 40 employees work here, including four specialists in maxillofacial surgery, three ST dentists/doctors, and two assistant dentists. Currently, three dentists also hold a medical license.

Outpatient care, outpatient surgery, and administration are conducted in new state-of-the-art facilities. The clinic has medical responsibility for inpatients with two dedicated ward places.

Job Description

We are looking for a licensed dentist for the maxillofacial clinic. You will primarily work with dentoalveolar surgery.

Work Group

You will mainly work with the maxillofacial surgical section. This includes; ward work, outpatient surgeries, reception work, day duty. You will work in a team and collaborate with various professional categories within healthcare and dentistry.

About You

Licensed dentist. You should have served at least two years as a general dentist. Experience within the specialty, on-call service at inconvenient times within the specialty is particularly meritorious.

Reliable, stable, and meticulous. You have a strong interest and commitment to your work, take responsibility for your tasks, and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You should have a good ability to collaborate in a team and work well with others, relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner, and have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. Personal qualities are highly valued.
